Bugatti has officially completed the final Bolide, marking the end of an extraordinary chapter for the brand’s track-only hypercar program. Limited to just 40 units, this last Bolide stands as a tribute to Bugatti’s century-long pursuit of performance, precision engineering, and racing heritage.
Born from a bold concept unveiled in 2021 and refined through thousands of hours of design and testing, the Bolide project pushed the boundaries of what a track-focused hypercar can be. Bugatti’s engineers balanced supreme performance with the brand’s famed craftsmanship, ensuring every detail lived up to the marque’s exacting standards. Its development included rigorous on-track validation, including high-speed runs at Le Mans and extended shakedown testing to deliver unparalleled dynamics.
The final Bolide is a bespoke creation commissioned by a loyal collector, inspired by the iconic Bugatti Type 35 and finished in a striking Black Blue and Special Blue Lyonnais livery. Inside, ‘Lake Blue’ Alcantara and French tricolor accents pay homage to Bugatti’s racing DNA, completing a unique trilogy of vehicles that connect the brand’s past with its high-performance future.
As production comes to a close in Molsheim, the Bolide remains a testament to Bugatti’s relentless innovation — a modern legend that carries forward the spirit of its historic predecessors while celebrating the end of the W16 era.
